Some Reminders for Your Closing
As your closing approaches, a few reminders…….
- Confirm the closing time and wiring instructions directly with your closing attorney (via phone NOT e-mail).
- Most closing attorneys require your funds to be wired. The attorney may take a certified check in some cases.
- NEVER accept e-mailed wiring instructions, especially if it is labeled “modified.”
- Bring a valid driver’s license.
- Finalize your homeowner’s insurance policy as soon as possible.
